Founding Data Scientist
About the Role
As our Founding Data Scientist, you'll be a core member of the founding team, building the external intelligence engine and audit systems that power Innovaiden's AI-powered consulting delivery platform. You'll work directly with leadership to create the data infrastructure that gets every engagement 60% complete before client contact. This is a foundational role. You'll have significant ownership, meaningful equity, and the opportunity to define how data science is done at Innovaiden from day one.
What You'll Do
- Build the External Intelligence Engine: Design data pipelines for millions of external signals.
- Develop Audit Trail Systems: Build infrastructure for full traceability (provenance, methodology).
- Create Analytical Frameworks: Develop models for risk scores and peer benchmarks.
- Collaborate Across the Platform: Work with engineering and product to ship data-driven features.
- Establish Best Practices: Define standards for data quality, governance, and scalability.
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years of experience in data science or data engineering.
- Strong proficiency in Python and modern data/ML tooling.
- Experience building and deploying models in production environments.
- Familiarity with external data sources: web scraping, API integrations, OSINT methodologies.
- Understanding of data provenance and audit trail requirements.
- Comfort operating in ambiguity and moving fast with limited structure.
